Hello, thank you for visiting my website, let me introduce myself with a little about me….
Anyway, back on topic Stevie!! Yes, I am Stevie Worsell, I am a Wellbeing coach. Why? Because, for me your own wellbeing is vital to the life you lead, it is a critical leg on the stool of life.
What I do is extremely rewarding, and I love every second of it. I have the privilege of being a positive part of people’s journeys and see them move from strength to strength along the way. Working with others allows me to witness monumental changes, each being unique and inspirational along the way.
If you really want to know… A brief background to how I got to where I am now.. Growing up, it would be fair to say I wasn’t the most confident person. It held me back from achieving what I wanted to achieve, and stopped me from doing activities I wanted to do. I had always been a deep over-thinker, and this would stop me from pursuing opportunities, always seeing the problem.
In 2013, I was at a low, however it turned out to be the big turning point in my life.
I attended counselling sessions which allowed me to understand events better, and most importantly allowed me to look forward and then move forward. My mindset had started to become a growth type mindset and I knew that I could do whatever I put my mind to. Breaking my leg during my counselling sessions gave me the perfect opportunity to reflect, and look forward. With this came a new found belief and desire. This made me realise events in life happen so quickly and I wanted to make the most of it before it was too late.
From that moment I always wanted to give back to counselling and help others. Firstly, I wanted to focus on progressing in my IT career. It was during this progress that I was introduced to coaching as I was placed upon a coaching course in the workplace. I found something whereby I could give back to others like counselling but have an impact looking into a brighter future. This was an ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) course and provided me with a certification to coach in the workplace. Noticing the difference with people I coached it turned into a real passion and I wanted to pursue it further.
I signed up to a 2 day event with a company call The Coaching Academy, which resulted in me starting to of their courses. One becoming a fully qualified Personal Performance Coach and the other leading to becoming a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner. That was the start and since I have continued to delve into the world of people, psychology, behaviour and self development. One thing that I have noticed workign with others is a lot of the time it came back to a few crucial areas.
That is why I am in the area I am in today. I believe with better wellbeing we will overcome many physical and mental illnesses.
Your wellbeing is crucial, no one else is going to look after it for you!
